Eating Disorders With Lindsay Midura

Lindsay Midura, RDN,LD, is a Health At Every Size® (HAES) and trauma-informed Dietitian and Yoga Teacher. This means it is her mission to help people disconnect from ineffective diet fads and externally-driven yoga posturing, to instead tap back into the inner wisdom about how to truly nourish ourselves. With her expertise in nutrition and yoga, it is Lindsay’s hope to serve as a guide on her clients’ journeys toward reclaiming autonomy and harmony in mind, body, and spirit. Lindsay graduated from the University of Minnesota with her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics. She went on to do her Dietetic Internship with the University of Minnesota in coordination with The Emily Program, specializing in eating disorder treatment and recovery. Lindsay also holds a 200-hour training certificate in yoga, and has completed over 500 hours of advanced study with an eclectic mix of over 25 teachers locally, nationally, and internationally recognized. Lindsay merged her passions for nutrition and yoga by traveling to Dharamshala, India to study Ayurveda, Tibetan Medicine and Yoga through the University of Minnesota’s extensions program. At the Men-Tsee-Khang Medical School in Dharamshala, Lindsay presented to over 50 Tibetan Medical Doctors about diagnosis and treatment of Eating Disorders according to the DSM-5 and the 3 Primary Energies (nyepas). Lindsay continues to deepen her specialty by studying Intuitive Eating (IE), Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TSY), and Accessible Yoga.
