She will spend 75 minutes with you discussing your child's health concerns, your child's health goals, and identifying underlying imbalances that may be triggering symptoms. She may or may not suggest blood work, covered by insurance, that will help her educate you on underlying imbalances such as: inflammation, digestive health, gut microbiome diversity, food intolerances, organ function, blood health, toxins, and nutritional deficiencies. Lab tests can cost $75 with insurance, and $400 without insurance. These tests can be sent directly to your home or she can coordinate with a lab near you. She can also provide holistic blood work interpretation of their most recent labs with their pediatrician. Blood work is not always necessary. Dr. Felty can help your child with or without blood work in most cases. At the start of the process of returning to optimal health, visits are spaced at approximately every two to four weeks to track progress, review lab work, and provide naturopathic counseling while implementing new lifestyle adjustments. Once health is restored, she recommends seasonal to annual visits to keep their health goals a priority each year. Nothing is more important than your health and your child's health.
