Research proves that #earthing, or #grounding, is an effective and accessible clinical strategy against the global epidemic of chronic, inflammatory-related diseases. Earthing is the direct physical contact with the surface of the planet such as walking barefoot or laying on the earth. Some research suggests that connecting the body to the Earth enables energy to spread over and into the body, where it can have antioxidant effects. Antioxidant effects prevent or delay cell damage. Antioxidants are found in many foods, especially fruits and vegetables. Many people do not eat enough antioxidants on a regular basis. Many people also do not spend time enough time in nature.
